The guests lost on all fronts in the first period. Although both teams showed sharp movements, the Amur’s attacks rarely ended in shots, and if there were such attempts, they went past the net. “Barys”, however, was shooting from every comfortable position, and in addition to that, they twice locked-up the Tigers in the zone. But quality has grown into quantity only when it came to unequal strength. The Panthers have one of the best special teams in the league, every fifth man-advantage during the championship was capitalized properly. But this time, one attempt was enough for them. At the 14th minute during the game “five on four” Shestakov placed the stick under the shot of Mikhailis and sent the puck into the net.

In the second period, the nature of the game had not changed. The hosts acted reliably in their zone, minimizing the ability of the Far Eastern guys to attack. The Tigers played in PP twice, but failed to arrange a solid attack. The puck strove to jump over a stick blade, redirects and rebounds were in the opponent's favor - in short, “Amur” didn’t play the game. The gleam of the twenty-minute period became Gorshkov who hit the crossbar, but the arena did not have time to breathe out, as the hosts came back with an effective counterattack. Akolzin scored.

Before leaving for a break, the Tigers took their first step in pursuit of “Barys”. The Zohorna brothers broke away into a two-on-one counterattack; Tomas stepped up to the plate and outplayed Pasquale.

In the third period, home team filled the middle zone, they were simply throwing the puck out of their zone in an attempt to maintain the advantage earned. It was very difficult to find the keys to the defense of such “Barys”. But the penalty call of Shevchenko played into the hands of “Amur”.  The Tigers replied with the Zohorna’s two goals in return of the head shot.

The teams went into overtime with the home team having “shots on goal” statistics twice better - 49 by 19. But when it comes to one-goal game, the numbers recede into the background. The panthers earned penalties in the second additional minute and the guests arranged their all-out attack, which was successfully completed by Rudenkov. Victory - 3: 2.
